I have three roles: 1) Consultant; 2) Negotiator and 3) Overseer of Transactional Details.
As your Consultant, I ask profound, insightful questions. You may notice they are questions the typical agent might never take the risk of asking. Experience shows that a skilled consultant like me will ask you probing, intelligent questions because discovering what is really important to you, is really important to me.
As your Negotiator, you, like me, know that money is an emotional issue and to represent your own self is like performing surgery on yourself. You would never do that, would you? What you will quickly notice as I negotiate for you is that I skillfully articulate the strengths and weaknesses of the suggestions other agents propose.
Lastly, I oversee all transactional details. In the days, weeks and months ahead, you will come to appreciate this role. Every transaction has over 100 pieces of paper requiring numerous signatures and initials, every "i" must be dotted, every "t" crossed. Making a mistake could be costly. Every transaction has 100-150 phone calls alone - each loaded with critical details. Imagine that selling/buying is like flying an airplane across the country and I'm your pilot and you're my passenger. We may or may not run into turbulence. Have you ever been a passenger in a plane? Ever been in turbulence? Then you Know! Rest assure, as your pilot, I recognize what is known and how to best obtain the relevant and accurate information needed.
I believe it is best to focus on what we want and make the best choices along the way to make your dreams come true. Because I see myself as your real estate consultant for life, meaning for as long as you live and for all parts of your life, my committment is to stay in frequent and somewhat informal communication with you.
