Vital Questions to ask your Realtor

   1. Do you request that a prospective purchaser be pre-qualified not just verbally, but in writing by a certified lender and that they have a letter/certificate verifying this at the time of contract presentation?

2. Do you have testimonial letters or references from past clients and may I call them?

3. Do you update during the listing and sale pending period on a weekly or bi-monthly basis?

4. Do you specify an efficient and cost effective title insurer for closing services?

5. Do you follow up on all showings and give feedback?

6. Do my calls get returned in a timely manner? Explain how.

7. Do you base the marketing price on actual sold prices rather than current list prices to establish a realistic selling price?

8. Do you work in real estate as a full time realtor?

9. How many full time agents do you have within your office to assist you in selling my/our home?

10. Is your company a member of the multiple listing service?

11. Do you try to respect personal/family time & request that all contract presentations be made on regular business hours, on my behalf?
